About

Let’s get rolling

Who we are

We are a scratch-artisan bakery

Anna Maria Bake House started in 2015 at the Sandbar restaurant. It began by replacing outsourced bread by making it in-house. We now make bread, crackers, pastries, and desserts for all three of our partner Chiles Hospitality restaurants, and the market at Gamble Creek Farms using high standards of quality.

We support regional millers including King Arthur Flour (Norwich, VT), Lindley Mills (Graham, NC), and Carolina Ground (Asheville, NC), and incorporate as much of their organic flour as possible in our products.

Our bakery items are available for pick-up. Perfect for your next dinner party, celebration, or special event.

Our Head Baker

Ted Louloudes

Ted Louloudes, a Bradenton native hailing from a family of restaurateurs (his grandfather owned six Greek pizzerias), introduced him to the craft of baking at a young age. Today he is Head Baker for Chiles Hospitality.

  • Ted Louloudes first joined us as a busser at Sandbar Seafood & Spirits during high school.

Once graduated, he went on to earn a Business Management degree from Florida State University before deciding to attend the Culinary Institute of America in Napa Valley. Upon finishing the program, he worked in several NYC restaurants including Lafayette Grand Café & Bakery. He then returned to Florida, working at Tampa’s Bern's Steak House, the Epicurean Hotel, and SideBern's restaurant.

He rejoined Chiles Hospitality in 2015, where he was set on establishing baked goods to service all our restaurants. Spending time at Gamble Creek Farms allowed him to grow, harvest, and process many of the products we use in Anna Maria Bake House recipes. Ted’s passion for baking is the driving force that shines through rustic sourdough, ciabatta, brioche, muffins, and focaccia, made daily with rave reviews.

Providing Locally

Purchasing Wholesale

Some of our products can be purchased wholesale directly through us. We provide breads and desserts to our three partner restaurants, Sandbar, Beach House, and Mar Vista, which are found in the dishes on their menus. Gamble Creek Farms orders all their baked goods from us, which are delivered fresh daily to their on-site market. We can take wholesale orders for select quantities and products, depending on the timeline. Contact us with your special requests to make a local meal or event extra delicious.
